Rent a whole machine

The full amount is frozen when you order, and the platform activates a machine for your exclusive use. Activation pulls a system image, which usually takes a few minutes; the status reads “Activating” until it flips to “Active”. The machine has no access address and no public IP — you connect with a local ssh command plus the relay tool we provide; see the help centre. You can release early and get the unused time back, but at least one billing unit is always charged.
